Through Efficient Buildings Europe, Renovate Europe joins EU-funded projects as a consortium partner. Below you can read how we can work with you, and find our projects and those of our national partners. To involve one of our partners in your proposal, please contact them directly.
Bring Renovate Europe into your project
Preparing an EU project on buildings? We can join your consortium on roles such as policy work, stakeholder engagement, communications and events, and can bring some of our national partners and the wider renovation community.
What we bring
- Stakeholder engagement: workshops, roundtables and national policy forums with ministries, agencies, industry and relevant building stakeholders. In EPBD.wise, we co-organised 12 policy forums.
- Communication and dissemination: our website, newsletter and social media, and a place for the project results at Renovate Europe Day and the C4E Forum.
- Policy uptake: we turn project results into recommendations for the EU institutions and Member States, and share the results with EU and national policymakers.
- A European network: partners from industry, civil society, cities and regions at EU level, and national partners in 19 countries.

We welcome proposals under LIFE, Horizon Europe and other EU programmes. Contact us with the call and a short outline of your idea.
Renovate Europe has no legal entity of its own. In a consortium, the partner is Efficient Buildings Europe, which runs the campaign.

Our projects
LIFE Clean Energy Transition
October 2023 to June 2026, finished
EPBD.wise (October 2023 to June 2026) supported public authorities in Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Ukraine in putting the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive into practice: zero-emission buildings, national building renovation plans, minimum energy performance standards, building renovation passports and energy performance certificates. It was funded by the EU LIFE programme and coordinated by TU Wien.
Efficient Buildings Europe, which manages Renovate Europe, was one of the project’s partners. With the project’s national partners, among them EnEffect and BACIW in Bulgaria, INZEB in Greece, Fala Renowacji in Poland and ROENEF in Romania, who are also our national partners, we co-organised 12 policy forums. There, ministries, public agencies, industry and experts discussed the project’s recommendations for their country.
Policy forums
