Welcome to Renovate Europe’s newsletter!
Here are the highlights from the last very busy months.
These include: the organisation of Renovate Europe Day 2022 that took place at the European Parliament (and online) on the 27th of October, the publication of the updated infographic on EU funding for energy renovation, and the launch of our two latest briefings regarding investment in skills and advisory services.
Other initiatives include hosting the webinar “Renovating Europe’s buildings: opportunities for workforce upskilling in cohesion funding” during this year’s #EURegionsWeek and co-signing a joint letter asking for ambitious Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) in the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) recast.
We are also very pleased to announce the launch of the European Renovation Loan Report by our partner Climate Strategy & Partners.
As for the C4E Forum, the save the date for the 23-26 May 2023 has already been issued, and our Campaign Director Adrian Joyce has published a blogpost looking into the importance of the Central and Eastern Region in the Renovation Wave and in accomplishing both the climate and energy security goals in the EU agenda.
